Clarion Alley

Clarion Alley was a interesting place. We went there after our appointment at the Social Security Office and we were shown around by the manager of our training program, who was familiar with the area and knew bits about some of the pieces. I loved seeing the detailed murals, which were in stark contrast to graffiti that can be seen around most cities.

The murals down the alley started in 1992 and there is a group of people who oversee the project. Its a great thing to witness and I'd recommend it if you're on Valencia street.

The Clarion Alley can be found between Mission and Valencia Street and 17th and 18th Street.
